WARNING: TONS OF PHOTOS AHEAD.
Please don't ask me why I look so fugly in all my photos. T_T This is literally taking a hike down memory lane for me. :) Beginning from my primary years up to my high school years. The things, people, lifestyle I miss so much. :'(
I have many more Polaroids like this that my mom and dad took of me or me with my brother.
Mom used to have a boutique in City Square under the name Heidi Boutique. :) She sold
Malay traditional clothes, silk, kaftan etc etc. :D :D :D I used to wear kaftans to sleep! Super comfy!
Yeap, my love of animals domestic and exotic began at a very very very young age.
I dunno why but my mom says when I was born I was really dark skinned. As I grew up
I just got fairer and fairer. hahaha. Weird stuff. My brother is the complete opposite.
He was fair as a baby, and as he grew up he got darker and darker. xD
GOSH. I so miss my ballet years. :( I remember we had another recital where I was one of the little princesses in an Aladdin ballet recital. :) We all were wearing pink sequined Princess Jasmine-like outfits. I remember going for ballet classes at Jean Gan Academy of Ballet with my childhood friend Su Ann. :)
OHEMGEE this is my Sunday School Standard 2 Class photo.... which was the photo Shalom LOVED to use
to black mail me with. ARGHHHHH. hahahaha. But those were good times. :D I remember my favourite
class project was a Noah's ark art and craft where we had to use Plasticine to make pairs of animals. :D
Yes, I was a young young mother. hahahahahahahaha. xD This was my favourite play where I acted
as Mary (Jesus' mommy) and Samuel acted as Joseph. That's little Serena on Sam's lap. hehe. I remember
she was throwing the presents around the stage when the 'wise man' gave the gifts to her. LOL.
I think Wyzek was one of the 3 wise man...can't remember. haha.
Ah, how I miss those silly performances we had in primary school. I'm from Kuen Cheng 1...a Chinese
primary school which I'm not too fond off. Gazillion homeworks and strict teachers equals scarred
childhood. hahahahaha. xD That's Jia Meei next to me. :D
Super old drawing by Jia Meei of herself. I used to know her as Emily way back in primary school. :)
I remember in EVERY essay or karangan that required us to write a letter, I always wrote the letter to her. haha.
Jia Meei was my bestest best friend in primary school and she totally made primary school so much
more fun and bearable. haha. Thanks babe, I'll never forget those days when we were inseparable. ;)
It's her 21st birthday today (15th April), so
HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
Haha, gosh do I miss my classmates. :) We were practically classmates from standard 4 to Standard 6!
So we practically knew one another way too well. hahahaha. But it's always heaps fun with everyone.
Can't fit everyone's names in. Meh. :( The group I was closest to was JM, Tyng, Chong'en, Christian & Yi Horn.
Sigh. Those were the days. We live, eat, sleep, breathe band practices. Haha. JM and I played the
trumpet. Tyng was on the trombones if not mistaken. Band practices were always the bomb! XD
We always secretly thought the percussion peeps were so cool. haha. :D
Hohoho... Chian Tyng please don't kill me k???????? hahaha. This is a really old photo we took at her house.
We actually did a mini photoshoot of ourselves. hahahahahaha. SO MUCH FUN K? xD
Owh and this babe just turned 21 on the 12th of April. Woohoo! Hope u had a fab birthday. ;)
Compulsory autograph on back of graduation picture. :D I miss you all!!!!!! T____T
HAHAHAHAHHA. This was in Form 1!!! xD
That's Jia Wei, Jez and me! xD hahaha, ohemgee, we look so innocent.
And yes! We had the same sling bag my dad gave us. Blue and red Blackrock bag. xD
This photo was taken during a school trip to Putrajaya. :D
HAHAHAHAHAHA... high school is never complete without silly performances! xD
If i'm not mistaken, we were performing Westlife's Flying Without Wings song. >_<
Hahahaha, the days of boy bands and girl bands. Admit it lah, you guys were into that too! :P
Yes yes yes, very embarrassing.... I know... hahaha. But good memories. :D
This one was super fun. Dikir Barat! hahaha. Even though most of us were chinese, we tried our best
to come up with an authentic Dikir Barat performance. :D I had to write the lyrics to suit the occasion
cos it was a Anti-drugs Campaign week. I still remember one of the songs man. haha.
Ala ewa....ewa bulannn...
In high school I was in the St. John's Ambulance society/club. We even went for classes and then
took our first aid exam. :) So back in high school we were certified first aiders! hahaha. xD
Sometimes we would go to jogathon events for duty, most of the time we were on duty during sports day. :)
I remember we always had to do an inventory check before going out for duty.
We always had marching practices too but after my skin got bad I couldn't go for it anymore.
Jez is the babe I share the same birth date with. hehehe. I think she's older by a few hours. :P
YOU HAVE TO HEAR HER LAUGH. My goodness, is so contagious!!!! hahaha. She brightens up any
day once she starts to tell lame jokes and laughs out loud. hehehe. I always felt that she looked a
whole lot like Zhang Zi Yi. hehehe. :3 We used to go for tuition together at Pusat Tuisyen Universal,
we car pool A LOT too. haha. She was the only one who stayed back in Tmn Desa. Wei and I left. :(
Hahahahahahahhaah, why la why my face so uglyyyyy.... hahahahahahahahaha. xD
This was during a trip with my family up to Bukit Tinggi. GOSH. The place is so nice k.
Very very very nice for photos!!! Loads of greenery and even the Japanese tea garden. :)
AND YES. I CENSORED MY EXPOSED BELLY. Goodness, what was I thinking!!?!?!?!?!? O_O
Jia Wei is the one I sat together with throughout my years in Tmn Desa. :)
We could talk about anything and everything under the sun. :D
She's also the best person to have around when you're shopping. This girl can make out a list of
pros and cons about every since product you may want to consider buying. Fulamak I tell you.
By the time she finish listing out you dunwan to buy dy. Save money! hahaha. :D
She's also the one who taught me how to play volleyball and how to speak cantonese. hehehe. :3
She's turning 21 on the 21st of April...woohoo! Can't wait can't wait!
Thanks for my birthday card again my dear. :D
Hahahahahaha... I think this was the Pine Resort in Fraser's hill.
We were so amused by the "Lover's Corner" which was actually a garden bench in the middle of
potted plants, over looking another block of rooms. -___________-
Ohemgee I was wearing puffy socks!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Btw, this was in form 2 if I'm not mistaken....either form2 or end of form1. :P
BOTH OF YOU FASTER COME BACK LAH K? Emo dy. Miss you babes so so so much!!!!!! T______T
If you haven't noticed by now, my best friends in primary school and in high school
are ALL April babies!!!! So once April comes along, we all go pokai (broke). hahahhahahaha.
One birthday after another k? Summore mine and Jez like LAST DAY of April. hahaha. xD
So yes, this month is our month!!! Which makes me miss you all so so much. T________________T
Sigh. This was one of the last few pics we took together in Tmn Desa. Those days were filled with
awesome awesome awesome memories that will last a lifetime. :)
Totally random I know. But this was the first time I learnt how to play pool. And I instantly got addicted.
Hahaha. This was at the Pine's Resort in Fraser's Hill. They have a recreation room which was where
we hung out during our free time. Jez and Yih Hon and Lai Sin would play cards there. :D
Another totally random picture of Angel when she was a young little kitten. :3
Halfway through Form 4 I transferred school to SMK Cochrane. Where I met a crazy bunch of friends.
Hahaha. Though it was only for a brief moment, the time I got to spend at Cochrane was awesome. :)
The mix of multiracial classmates (in Tmn Desa it's mostly dominated by Chinese students) was really fun.
And there was a Christian Fellowhip in school that I could join so it was really sweet. :D
This was the gang I hang out with the most. hahahahahaha.
YES. We sleep in class very often. xD And this was the first time I'd been in a class where the tables
were arranged in this manner! :D SO MUCH FUN! :D :D :D Usually in between classes we'd gather round
and have a daily chit chat about anything and everything. xD With Chai Hong the sampat one,
there was never a dull moment. And being in a new school and no longer a prefect, I was able to
experience what it was like to have a normal student life. Not that I hated my prefect years,
but I really felt stress free and without a truckload of worries. :P
Hahaha, we helped one another out with out homework. So this was part of our moral homework.
Had to pretend to work hard in class and take photo. hahahahahaha. Silly stuff. xD
Another pura-pura-ing photo. hahahaha. Boon Hui so fake k?????? LOL. He was the best lah, always
cooking awesome food and bringing for us in class. :D
Yeshhh, I miss you all... haven't seen u babes in years! :( Chai Hong used to work at Purple Cane Tea
so I would often bump into her at Midvalley. Hannah and I used to go for dance class together until
I stopped cos I don't have the time. She's a dance instructor now. Terror right? hahaha. xD
I MISS MY PIANOFORTE FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohemgee, the many many performances we did together... hanging out together... having practices
in Pianoforte....sighhhh...I miss those days. :)
*this photo is proof that I look really really really bad in straight hair. LOL. xD
Ah, yes. I miss dressing up as Sailor Moon and going for dance competitions. hahahahahahahahah xD
Hahaha, I miss my Bible Knowledge classes and my classmates. :)
Ms Yeoh, our teacher, is hidden in the photo...dunno why... T_T
Last but not least, my church friends I grew up with. Miss you babes! :D
FUH. Finally done. :D
This photo spam also proves Jacintha's theory. I look different in every photo. hahaha. xD
Hugs n Kisses,
Di
