One of my favorite hymns. And so befitting the occasion.
I've come to realize I have so much to be thankful for,
and it's all because He lives.

John 3:16 ~ "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

God gave his one and only Son...
God = The Father, The Son & The Holy Spirit
God = The Son
God gave his one and only Son...
In other words, God gave Himself to die for our sins.
