A while back my roomie, Miss Loke (haha) was asking me how to set up
an online shop and where's the best place to start an online shop.
I don't have an online shop...I do have an ebay account though...
(sidetrack- I just sold my SDIO WiFi card on ebay and
now I'm selling a
brand new LG DVD player with Karaoke.
Clickie! )
But my guess as to why she asked me about this was because I shop online.
A LOT. heh heh. What? It's fun to shop online k? No need to susah susah
drive out and get stuck in a jam, wait 1/2 an hour to find parking space,
squeeze through hordes of shoppers (esp during mega sales), fight with
other people over who saw the item first, successfully grabbing an item
only to find that the queue at the counter is so long that by the time you
get to pay it's probably the next mega sales. *phew* @_@
Not that I don't like shopping, I do enjoy it...retail therapy (When you can afford it)
is awesome...window shopping with friends is really fun too. It's just that online shopping
makes indulging in retail therapy a cinch. Especially lazy people like me. hahaha.
PLUS PLUS PLUS, you can get really good bargains online as well! :D
And you can buy stuff that you can't find in Malaysia! *cough*Victoria Secret*cough*
So yeah, sometimes when you just feel homely and are not up for walking around
in 3-inch stilettos (I'm short k? ._.), online shopping is heaven sent. :3
Right, back to Miss Loke. No, she wasn't asking because she wanted to start her own shop.
She was asking on behalf of her Church pastor's wife- Kristyn. :D

Hehe...why yes! Today is your special day! :D
Ever wanted to get someone a nice handmade card but are pressed for time to make one yourself?
Well,
KrstynCards (
http://www.krstyncards.blogspot.com/) is the place to go! :D
About Ms. Kristyn (taken from the blog) :
"Runs a home based business teaching classes, selling craft materials and personalized
handmade cards. She conducts demonstration and craft lessons in schools, malls,
flee markets and organisations.Kristyn also organises Crafty Party Time for children's function."
So yeah, it's always nice to give and receive handmade cards, unfortunately it is a passion that
requires you to commit quite a bit of your time. So if time is of the essence and you know someone
who is a master in the craft of card making, why not purchase directly from her or
commission her to create that perfect card you need? ;)
If you still prefer to add your own personal touch to your cards, Ms. Kristyn has another online shop
called
Christie Craft (
http://christiecraft.blogspot.com/) where you can obtain awesome craft tools
to aid you in creating your masterpieces. :) The sheer amount of punchers available is enough to make
any papercraft enthusiast drool. The only thing that went through my mind when I saw the punchers
was... "I want I want I want I want" And while I absolutely LOVE scrapbooking, I just can't afford the
fancy-smancy scrapbooking stuff sold at most craft stores... T_T This however...hehehe...is so much
more affordable. ;)
Even if you don't normally do craft work, you'd be inspired by Ms. Kristyn to hide away in your room and start a papercraft marathon or something. haha. xD
*It's time to get crafty!*
Hugs n Kisses,
